Personalized jute shopping bag with round handles: the natural tote

The personalized jute shopping bag is the sturdiest and highest quality in our tote bag range. Its 14x15 cm jute, lined with an inner polypropylene laminate, gives it perfect structure and protects the contents from moisture. Its round, braided cotton handles and generous size of 43 x 33 x 19 cm make it a bag you'll keep for years to come.

Configure your bag: 2 to 4 choices

You are always asked to make two choices: the quantity and the marking technique. The following depend on the technique chosen.

• Neutral bag : 2 choices, and the price is displayed.
• Screen printing : 4 choices (quantity, technique, printed sides, metallic ink).
• Transfer : 4 choices (quantity, technique, format, printed sides).

1. The quantity

From 100 to 5,000 units (100, 250, 500, 1,000, 2,500, 5,000). The unit price decreases with larger quantities, but less significantly than for a lightweight tote bag: for this bag, the cost of the material is the primary factor, not the technical costs. 2. The marking technique

Screen printing – 1 color. The ink is applied directly to the jute canvas. This material only accepts one color : the thick, irregular weave of the jute does not allow for the precise registration required by layering inks. The result is intentionally rustic, with the fibers remaining visible through the ink – this is what gives this bag its character.

Transfer — A3, A4, A5, or A6. The design is printed onto a film and then heat-applied. This is the only solution for a multi-colored logo, a gradient, or a detailed design on this bag, and the result is significantly sharper and more opaque than screen printing on such a textured material.

No markings. The bag is delivered plain.

Note:digital printing is not possible on jute.

3. The format (transfer only)

Four formats: A3 (28 x 28 cm), A4 (28 x 20 cm), A5 (14 x 20 cm), A6 (14 x 10 cm). The recommended imprint area is 28 x 24 cm : for areas exceeding 24 cm in height, we will adjust the design with you during the proof approval process.

4. The printed sides

1 side (front) or 2 sides (front/back). For front/back printing, the marking is charged for each side: printing cost and technical fees are doubled.

5. Metallic ink (screen printing only)

Gold, silver, or copper ink stands out particularly well against the natural color of jute. Select "Yes" for this option, and the additional cost will be included in the displayed price.

Important: Rendered on jute

Jute does not accept flat undercoats. It is impossible to apply an opaque base coat before the ink. On this natural, weave-like material, the screen print will therefore always have a slightly textured appearance, and the colors will pick up some of the beige tint of the fiber.

Our advice: opt for a simple, high-contrast logo — bold, solid colors and thick typography work very well, gradients and fine details much less so. For a more demanding or multi-colored design, choose a transfer.

SHOPSTORE cannot be held responsible for the color reproduction of screen printing on jute, as solid colors are not achievable on this material. We reserve the right to stop a production order if, for technical reasons, the final result could be compromised: logo sharpness, screen blocking, etc. In this case, we will always contact you before production begins.

Prepare your file

Recommended print area: 28 x 24 cm. Send us your logo in vector format (.ai, .eps, .pdf); for transfer, a high-resolution file (minimum 300 dpi) is also acceptable. A proof will be sent to you for approval before production begins.
